Stadium Guide

History

Sporting Kansas Park first opened in time for the 16th Major League Soccer Season, with the inaugural house fixture held against Chicago Fire on 9th June 2011. The Wizards third stadium in total, formerly the club had played in the Arrowhead NFL Stadium between 1996-1997 and CommunityAmerica Ballpark between 2008-2010.

Greatest Hostels

Sporting Park embedded inside the heart of a shopping and entertainment complex and so there are a numerous places to drink at before the match, although the amount of restaurants does outweigh the amount of bars within the complex.

North west of this floor there is the likes of Yard House Sports Bar, Chili’s Grill & Bar, along with a Hooters bar that’s famous American creation famous for”horns & waitresses”.

Food

The Shopping facility has everything from cheap fast food chains such as McDonalds, Taco Bell and Quiznos to sit down restaurants such as Olive Garden, IHOP and Longhorn Steakhouse.

Inside Sporting Park there are numerous food options to select from courtesy of hamburgers KC American Sportservice.

Club Shop

Fans can buy Sporting Kansas City products from both shops located both sides of the scene at sections 114 and 131. Open on match days only, these are supplemented by various merchandise kiosk dotted across the stadium’s concourse and also the official MLS Online Store.

Arena Tour

Sporting Kansas City regrettably do not offer lovers stadium tours of their amenities in Sporting Park as of the 2015 season, but if that changes we will be sure to update this segment.

Ticket Costs

Tickets to see Sporting Kansas City play in your home during the 2015 MLS season are usually priced between $25.50 — $160.00 based on where you sit inside the scene. After adding tax and booking fees on the prices you’re likely looking at a complete cost up to $10.00 more expensive than listed.

Sporting Park is located alongside Kansas Speedway that’s just from the Interstate 435, a couple kilometers west of the principal city centre.

Car Parks

Whilst there are a lot of car parks located near Sporting Park, just lots I and J are called”overall parking” which usually means that you may just turn up in the day and drop off your car. Take a look at this parking map to find the overall parking places — they are highlighted orange.

Bikes

Unlike a lot of newly built Major League Soccer reasons there are now no bike rack locations outside Sporting Park.
